Settlement of Fillings.
When you first receive your mattress all the fillings inside will be at the same level. After using the mattress slight hollows will appear in the sleeping areas. This is quite normal and is caused by the fillings compacting under body weight, not by faulty springs or fillings. The fillings will compress to a reasonably even level over the entire surface but will show the compression more where it is subjected to body weight where a person sleeps. Turning and/or rotating your mattress will help to even out the settlement.

Handling
Many mattresses are heavy and you may need help when turning or moving your mattress. The handles on a mattress are ideal for helping to turn a mattress but are not designed for the mattress to be carried far. Do not roll or or fold the mattress as this can damage internal components. Sitting on the edge of a bed puts undue strain on the springs at the edges and can damage a mattresses border. Do not allow anyone to jump on the mattress as this will cause damage.
is made slightly shorter than bed bases to accommodate bed linen and some headboards. A pocket sprung mattress can compact during storage and transport, but this will rectify itself with use.
